Rode 12 miles outside.
My log of becoming a "triathlete" at age 48, and continuing through age 55.
Ran 3.9 miles in the heat and humidity in the afternoon. It was a real one foot in front of the other type of run.
Ran in the chill and wind. Need some better weather. Afterwards, I was coughing up the thick white allergy phlegm. TONIGHT BY EYES ARE ITCHY.
Rode 6 mile in the neighborhood, first time outside on the bike. My legs definately were improved from the spin class. I didn't ride hard, a few climbs, lots of coasting, just getting back to the feel of it. I need to figure out a safe route that I can do every several evenings a week that will give me some good climbing workouts.
Ran 2.4 in the neighborhood. Easy.

Did a longer neighborhood run. Slow and untimed, but running in shorts. My running goal for the next two onths is to just get in shape for the Shamrock Duathlon and the Rev 3 Olympic, meaning just being able to run with some decent endurance. I a going to save my speed efforts for later in the year.
Added some to the neighborhood route. 3 miles slow in sweats. I need to do some speed work.
Road 30 minutes on the trainer. I had my back wheel fixed at the bike shop. I should get out and do some road riding soon.
Ran 2.4 miles again. I really have to step up on the running I run and feel like I want to stop. I a not even pushig myself hard. Maybe it will get better when the weather and light improve ore. It is also hard running at the end of the day when I am tired.
