Swam the same 4 events I swan last year.

50 Free   29:00 (Bronze)  Last Year 29.57

I was swimming next to my rival, a guy I have only beaten once and who beat me by .01 last meet.  I slipped a little on the dive, and had a bad turn, but we seemed about neck and neck. I was so concentrated on beating him, I never took a breath the whole 50 yards.  Still he beat me by almost half a second.  My time was .01 off my best.  Galen later showed me the hand timer sheets which showed me at 28.38 and 28.59, for what those are worth, which is nothing.  Still find it hard to believe how close my times are every swim.  I have done six swims with the times between 28.99 and 29.32.  I am at least encouraged by what I might do with a perfect dive, turn and not breathing.

I was happy to get under 1;10 given how tired I was.

Overall, I was pleased my combined time was less than a year ago, and faster in 3 of 4 events.
