3 Mile Run/1 mile Swim

Ran three miles areound the circle at work before work this morning. Chilly out, but I was dressed warmly. I ran slow and again at two miles I could feel the weakness under my left knee. Still it felt great to run.

At one point during the day I did have that sudden sharp pain on the outside of my right knee. I am convinced it is the so-called IT band from my reading. The right leg also still feels a little weak through the day. I think some strength training is in order.

At night I swam for 40 minutes, not counting laps so I credited myself with a mile, which is about how long it takes me to swim when I am swimming slow to easy.
