Strength-Training

Got up at 5:30 and went to the gym. I did a five minute walk warm up, started running, went 1/4 of mile and said, I don't really feel like running, so I stopped and then did a strength-training workout. My heart rate never got over 120 with lifting.

Then I worked 12 hours in the city and am beat. At one point carrying a patient down three flights of stairs, my knee started to feel really stiff and sore, but it was okay when I walked later, just could feel it when I'd squat down.

Tomorrow I don't work until 3:30 in the afternoon so I'm hopeful I'll get a decent workout in earlier in the day. I'm thinking either a swim/bike or a long run. Probably the bike/swim with the long run on Friday if the knee feels okay.
