New England Championships 3-21-2015

Went up for one day.

Swam the 100 Free.  Thought my rtime was 105, but when they posted the official results it was 109.59.  I had misread the board.  I came in 17th again, one spot out of the running.

I swam the 50 Butterfly in 40.68, just for fun.  I came in 16 and earned 1 point for the team.  My first non-relay point.

I swam a 109.16 in a 400 medley relay.  We ended up getting disqualified because the sexond swimmer went early.  All four of us were from Cornerstone, which was fun and they all swim with me during the week and are much faster.

I missed the 200 breasttroke because I misscounted the heats.

Then I swam the opening leg of the 200 Free relay and did a 28.99, finally getting under 29 in an official time.

Next year I hope to go all three days.

Holyoke Swim Meet 3-8-2015

Swam in Holyoke.  The meet was much smaller this year than last.  I swam the 100 in a disapointing 1:11:36.  I had no energy.  There were so few swimmers that the 200 was ready to start before I even had my breath back, so I scratched,  The only other event I swam was the 50 Free.  I did that in 29.28, just a couple hundredths of a sec of my PR.  Didn't quite hit the turn.  Overall dissapointed, but realize I am not fully over the bronchitis that raged back after the last meet.
