Mile Run
Ran an easy mile just to limber the legs. Would have run more but they were spraying insecticide.
My log of becoming a "triathlete" at age 48, and continuing through age 55.

Ran two miles on the treadmill, and then swam for 15 minutes before the pool closed. I am feeling very tired, weak and out of shape.
Ran in the Go Fitness Thanksgiving morning 5K, which is the same race as last year's Malibu Fitness race. It was cold, and I was tired and didn't really want to go. There were no mile marks during the race and I didn't wear a watch so it was hard to guage much while running. I sprinted hard at the end for a gun time of 30:59. I didn't cross the start line for some considerable time at the beginning so I was a little upset to set the results have everyone's gun time and net time being the same (at least so far). I would like to think I came in under 30:00. Last year I was just under 29:00.
Ran 6 miles or there abouts in 59:30. Down around my route to Conard track and around track twice in the cold morning. My right hip was stiff and I was running pretty slow toward the end.
Ran tonight in the dark in 42:10. I ran in a reflective vest and with a flashlight on my head. Good run.
Ran in 43:45, a few seconds slower than the other day, but it was much colder. At least my hips didn't hurt as much and the run in general was easier.
