2.5 Mile run
Ran another 2.5 at the track in a stiff wind. I could have gone longer, but I am try to ease into a longer distance. I ran at an 11:10 pace.
My log of becoming a "triathlete" at age 48, and continuing through age 55.

Went to the track and did an easy 2.5 mile run outside. Untimed. I wasn't running fast. Next outing I hope to do 3 miles.
Rode the bike for 20 minutes and then did some lifting at the gymn, followed it up with a 500 yard swim and a jacuzzi.
Went to the gym, walked for .25 miles, and then ran a mile and then walked .25. I still have my chest cold, but am feeling better and wanted to try some light running. I felt great.
Rode 7 miles at work in 45 minutes. Sunny but cold. I think I averaged about 9 miles an hour. Riding the hybrid. Just going slow.
Feeling better, getting ready to start exercising again. Today, at work, I changed the back tire on my bike -- the one with the gears. It took me awhile, but I figured it out. I need to practice the tire changing so it is second nature. I rode the bike a little but it was still fiercesomely windy cold. At least the tire didn't come off.
